.I still believe I can change the world, or at least my little corner!

.I do not watch TV. I once saw it described as “chewing gum for the brain” and concurred!

.My favorite quote is by French novelist, Marcel Proust: “The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes.”

.I don’t have a taste for wine or coffee and I consider it a social hindrance!

.I approach each holiday with childlike enthusiasm and have created birthday, Halloween, and Christmas traditions.  For example, every birthday starts with a party at Shakespeare’s pizza downtown, followed by my traditional birthday cakes—yes, “cake” pluralized, followed by 80’s dancing (which is a real challenge due to the closing of Shattered)!

.My greatest discovery:  I have enough.

.I never realized the extent of my competiveness until I started playing power soccer (Services for Independent Living is always looking for Power Soccer sponsors)!

.I am writing a book I hope to publish someday.

.Having a disability is terribly inconvenient and a true blessing.

.I really enjoy cooking, dining out, playing games, good conversation, and spending time with the people I love.

.I am happiest in the sun (I know this is number 11, but I’m also a rebel)!
