1.
I still believe I can change the world, or at least my little corner!
2.
I do not watch TV. I once saw it described as “chewing gum for the brain” and concurred!
3.
My favorite quote is by French novelist, Marcel Proust: “The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes.”
4.
I don’t have a taste for wine or coffee and I consider it a social hindrance!
5.
I approach each holiday with childlike enthusiasm and have created birthday, Halloween, and Christmas traditions. 6.
My greatest discovery: I have enough.
7.
I never realized the extent of my competiveness until I started playing power soccer (Services for Independent Living is always looking for Power Soccer sponsors)!
8.
I am writing a book I hope to publish someday.
9.
Having a disability is terribly inconvenient and a true blessing.
10.
I really enjoy cooking, dining out, playing games, good conversation, and spending time with the people I love.
11.
I am happiest in the sun (I know this is number 11, but I’m also a rebel)!
