.I was an art major at Lindenwood College, and haven't painted a thing in over 30 years!

.I was a competitive swimmer in high school, and could eat Big Macs and quart malts and never gain an ounce. Have not had a Big Mac or a quart malt since.

.I am a certified scuba diver, and have dived in the Caymans, Bahamas, & Catalina Island.

.I am passionate about and addicted to word games, and have online Boggle buddies--some of whom I have met in person. We have gamed together for many years. My Boggle buddies live all over the world, and my goal is to meet as many of them as possible.

.I love to read--mostly inspirational books, non-fiction, and biographies. I also love esoteric and spiritual subject matter--angels, near-death studies, God Stories, etc.

.I am a film aficionado and am on the Missouri Film Commission, on the Ragtag Board, and have been heavily involved with the True/False Documentary Film Festival since its inception. I have been to the Sundance Film Festival in Utah. I have been an extra or cast extras for several films. For someone who lives smack in the middle of the United States, it is astounding the number of celebrities I have been privileged to meet!

.I love music of all kinds and have quite the eclectic mix on my IPod (the best gift my son, Jon, ever got me, apart from his choosing me as his Mom!). I love bluegrass, roots & blues, Celtic, soundtracks, country, folk, and even some hip-hop! Not into heavy metal.

.I have been to the Playboy Mansion.  My good friend and high school buddy, Steve Watts, just published a bio on Hefner (that I helped proofread) which came out last November. He invited me, my husband and son to the Mansion, where we met Hef's then-girlfriends Holly and Kendra. They were very sweet to us!

.When my husband of 37 years, Steve, was in the Army, we were stationed in Wiesbaden, Germany (where my son Jon was born), in Hawaii (where my daughter Amy was born), Texas, and Kentucky.

.I have also lived in Indiana, Colorado, Maryland, Georgia, and Michigan.
