1)
I’m the third generation in my family to graduate from the University of Missouri.
2)
I’m a Tiger football fan(atic).
3)
My mother is my hero and role model. When I saw how many people came to honor her at her funeral, I knew my goal in life was to touch as many lives as she did.
4)
The first vehicle I drove was a tractor. It had to have blocks on the pedals so I could reach them. (Not just because I’m short, I was only 4.)
5)
I love driving fast…cars, boats, motorcycles…engines were meant to purr.
6)
While I work for the Columbia Area Career Center, I’m also an international consultant in continuing education programming and marketing.
7)
I finished my Masters in Adult and Higher Education entirely online.
8)
I’m the proud parent of a beautiful cat, a naughty cat and a spoiled turtle (yes it is possible to spoil a reptile). At any given time, I’m likely to be the foster mother of a stray or abandoned animal.
9)
My passions are politics, family, friends, dancing, gardening, reading, swimming and traveling.
10)
I’ve been lost in the neighborhoods of Mexico and discovered great food and art.
