1. I have masters degrees in both history of science and acupuncture.
2. A music lover, I play the flute and regularly attend concerts by the Missouri Symphony Orchestra in the summer and the We Always Swing Jazz Series the rest of the year.
3. A supporter of local family farms, I enjoy shopping at the Farmer's Market and eating at locally-owned restaurants where I can enjoy locally grown and produced food.
4. I lived in an ashram for three years where I learned to teach yoga.
5. I spent several years each living in New York City, San Diego, Washington, D.C., and the Berkshires. Columbia, Missouri is my favorite place to live.
6. I think the sky is more beautiful in Missouri than anywhere else I have been.
7. I have been the sole proprietor of Lynn Maloney Acupuncture for a decade.
8. Time with friends enjoying good food, wine and conversation is my favorite passtime.
9. An avid reader, I have more books than I may ever be able to read.
10. I love being a health care provider and business owner in a town where I have so many wonderful colleagues in a variety of health care services and other businesses.
