1.Serves as the director of the University Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at MU, which assists entrepreneurs in enhancing the competitiveness of their businesses.

2.In the past two years, the Center has assisted mid-Missouri businesses in increasing sales by $67 million, acquiring investments of $44.7 million, and creating or retaining more than 450 jobs.

3.The center has assisted nearly three dozen high-technology start-up firms with investments for research and development and business formation.

4.A Board Member and Fundraising Chair for Central Missouri Honor Flight, and an avid reader of World War II history.

5.On the statewide Board of Directors for the Missouri Alliance for Animal Legislation.

6.An accomplished actress, singer and theatrical director and board member at Columbia Entertainment Company Community Theatre.

7.An avid fan of NASCAR racing.

8.Can often be found in the Twin Lakes dog park with Bud, the purebred brown dog, and Bonnie, the Shetland sheepdog.

9.Married to Michael Polley, professor of history at Columbia College.

10.     Graduated from Hickman High School in 1973 – and proud to be a Kewpie!
