1) I'm a twin. My twin sister, Christi, is a stay-at-home mom in St. Louis. We're fraternal. She's slightly taller with darker hair. I was born first (by seven minutes), so I'm technically the "big" sister.
2) I'm adopted. I met my biological mother when I was 25-years-old. We see each other every two or three months.
3) I met my husband at a bar (Skip's Place- the night it changed ownership and became McGinty's Pub).
4) I have three young children (4-year-old daughter, 2-year-old son, and 1-year-old son).
5) I started working at KMIZ-TV fresh out of college as a 21-year-old, back in 1997. Teresa Snow (news anchor at KRCG) was the News Director who hired me.
6) I pulled off a FAKE sex tape joke on my in-laws (with my husband's help), when we were newlyweds. We played the tape on Easter Sunday, at a family gathering. Best practical joke EVER. We're now legends, in his large family.
7) St. Louis is my hometown, but I LOVE Columbia. I've been here for 12 years and I hope to be here forever.

9) I taught Broadcast Communication at my alma mater, William Woods University, from 2001-2003.
10) I have play dates with Megan Murphy (KOMU morning anchor) and her son, Cooper. We get lots of double-takes and stares.
